Waterpolo Beach Party
meets the Fool Moon Regatta
Thanks to the cooperation with Società Velica Barcola Grignano SVBG, the 2nd edition of the Waterpolo Beach Party Trieste ’24, the international beach water polo tournament organised by Waterpolo Project ASD, will take place together with one of the most important events of Trieste’s sailing summer programme: the Fool Moon Regatta.
The venue will be the breathtaking seaside in front of SVBG, only few km from Trieste’s city centre.

the tournament will take place in Trieste, north-east of Italy
Beautiful and cultured, Trieste is Italy’s most cosmopolitan city. There are still echoes of the glorious Habsburg past and in its characteristic mixture of languages, nationalities and religions – it’s an Italian “melting pot” with Mitteleuropean and Mediterranean vibes.
The city offers a wide range of sights, architectural, cultural and natural attractions. And no doubt, Trieste will amaze you with its rich and original cuisine.
The tournament will be played in the seaside of Barcola, within walking distance from the city’s attractions and restaurants.

- 3 days of water polo and fun will be assured
- the tournament will last two days (Saturday and Sunday) from july 20th to 21st, 2024
- all matches will be played in the sea
- beach water polo rules, 4 players + goalie
- small pool, 20 x 10 m, beach waterpolo goals
- each match will have a duration of 2 halves, 8 minutes running each
registration & pricing
participation fee is 30 € per player or 250 € per team (which includes enrollement of 10 players)
- each extra player will pay 20 €
- the price includes a competition pack
- the deadline for team registration is Friday 21stJune, 2024
- to confirm the participation, it is necessary to pay the registration fee by the deadline for registration
the accommodation and the meals are not included in the tournament fee
